When a monitoring sub-agent hits its timeout, suspect sequential tool calls against large stores before suspecting the prompt. Sequential GBrain MCP queries each took ~20-30 seconds, so 5-6 queries plus reads plus writes easily blew past a 10-minute ceiling. Firing all dedup queries in parallel inside one step collapsed wall time from ~2.5 minutes to ~30 seconds total.
