Privacy isn't about where the server sits — it's about whose terms of service your prompts fall under. Anthropic and Google train on consumer inputs by default (5-year retention if you opt in). OpenRouter explicitly does not store request metadata. Ollama cloud explicitly excludes prompt and response content from its data scope. Reviewing the privacy policies live turned into the venture's sharpest differentiator: a client can swap models in a dropdown without rewriting skills, and that swap can route around any vendor that trains on their data.
