Daemon as extendable, dynamically-updated card (notebook + card synthesis)

The personal API should be a card that gets updated dynamically and can be extended. Not a static page, not a notebook that grows without shape. A card — a small, fixed form factor that everyone knows how to read — that updates itself as the brain changes, and that extends over time by adding new fields as new content types earn their place.

1. Identity (name, role, location, contact) — people/nathan 2. Current projects (3 active items, name + 1-line summary) — projects/ filtered by status=active 3. Working on (last 10 cross-cuts / recent work) — view 1 + view 5 4. What I recommend (books, articles, podcasts) — media/ filtered by recommend=true 5. Contact (email, calendar, who to refer) — people/nathan contact section

The synthesis: the daemon IS a card, but the card is extendable. The base card has 5-7 fixed slots (name, role, current projects, contact, etc.). Each slot is filled from gbrain by a query. New slots can be added (e.g., "books I recommend" was added 2026-06-25) by adding a new view without changing the others. Old slots can be removed or reshaped.

The extendability is what makes the daemon a card and not a product. A product has a roadmap. A card has slots. When a slot earns its place, it gets added. When it doesn't get read, it gets cut. The cost of adding is low enough that the decision to add is "is this interesting?" not "is this a 2-week project?"
